This short is Robert Showalter's thesis project at the Ringling College of Art.

The story is told in a very poetic way. It's about a small robot that gets a chance to find out where he comes from and where he belongs. For more information on the author visit his blog.

Second Hand

Este curta tem um estilo bem original, envolvendo não só o design dos personagens e do ambiente, mas também a animação. Foi criado pelo diretor/animador Isaac King, que tem experiência na direção de curtas e comerciais usando técnicas variadas de animação. 

A maneira de contar a hisória é ótima e o desenrolar dos acontecimentos também. É sobre vizinhos que lidam de forma contrastante com o tempo e com coisas - daí o nome "segunda mão", que remete ao ponteiro do relógio e à reutilização de bens. É uma animação cativante e surpreendente, espero que goste  :-)

This short has a very original look, involving the design of characters, environment and the animation as well. It was created by animator/director Isaac King, who has experience directing shorts and commercials using various techniques of animation.
The storytelling is really great. It's about neighbours that deal very differently with time and goods - hence the name second hand. It is a very fresh and surprising animation, I hope you like it  :-)

Out of Sight

Esta animação mostra como uma menininha acaba saindo de um caminho conhecido quando seu cãozinho foge e começa uma aventura mágica. Com um visual doce, a história se desenrola imersa na fantasia da protagonista que vai nos mostrando seu mundo...e isso basta como introdução ;-)

This animation shows how a little girl gets out of a familiar road when her dog runs away and starts a magical adventure. With a very sweet design, the story unfolds in the character's fantasy that shows us her world...and that's enough introduction ;-)

Drawing Inspiration

Esta é uma história poética sobre um homem preso em sua rotina. Depois de ser surpreendido por alguns desenhos ele repensa seus hábitos e começa a ver o que acontece ao seu redor de outra maneira .

Dirigido por Tim McCourt e Wesley Louis, este curta foi feito em colaboração com diversos artistas. O blog mostra o progresso da animação e como as idéias foram evoluindo com o passar do tempo: http://drawinginspirationproduction.blogspot.com/

This is a poetic story about a man caught in his habits. After he's surprised by some misterious sketches he rethinks his actions and also starts to see what happens around him.

Este curta foi planejado pelo animador Ryan Woodward e criado em conjunto com a coreógrafa Kori Wakamatsu. É uma interpretação belíssima de uma dança e permite que os espectadores façam suas próprias interpretações.

Este trabalho é parte de um projeto pessoal de Ryan para combinar diferentes tipos de arte, como ele explica em conteanimated.com.

This short was planned by animator Ryan Woodward and created in partnership with choreographer Kori Wakamatsu. It's a beautiful interpretation of a dance and allows viewers to make their own subjective and unique interpretation.

It's part of a personal project Ryan has in mind to combine different art forms, as he explains on conteanimated.com.
